Post-conference Tour
31st May – field trip in the Krościenko Forest District. Topics: overview of forestry in Poland, forest management in the Polish part of the Western Carpathians. Traditional rafting on the Dunajec river through the Pieniny National Park (https://flisacy.pl/).
1st June – field trip in the Babia Gora National Park. Topics: structure and dynamics of primeval spruce and mixed-spruce-fir-beech forests. Hiking on Babia Gora's summit (1723 m asl). Excursion to the high-moor peat bog in the Orava valley.
2nd June (till 3 pm) - visit in the Wieliczka Salt Mine (https://www.wieliczka-saltmine.com). Return to the city center or the airport.
Cost: 150 € Euro (640 PLN).
The price covers transportation, accommodation and entrance fees and does not include board.
